Recent years have seen Brisbane’s VINTED VINEER develop into one of the city’s most exciting indie forces. Spending 2025 reveling in the release of choice tracks like ‘you’ and ‘zzz’, the group makes a new stride forward into a fresh year with a brand new single: ‘underthetable’.
As the band’s first drop for 2026, ‘underthetable’ presents as a fresh reminder of Vinted Vineer’s strength as a creative unit; blending melodies and hooks together with ease, while navigating honest lyricism that is capable of being introspective and broadly accessible to listeners.

Bringing some pop drama through with fresh takes on what is fast becoming a signature sound of theirs, Vinted Vineer explore notions of self-doubt and dealing with one’s emotions through music that beckons the listener to move.
As the band explains, “The song is really inward looking. It’s about that state of mind where you find yourself questioning things, feeling a bit lost, and eventually just confessing that you miss someone. It’s not entirely heavy or light. It’s suspended somewhere in between, with a moody vibe that keeps pushing forward. By the end, I want people to feel like it’s a song they can weave into their own lives.There’s some intentional ambiguity so it’s not just my diary entry. It’s kind of a day song, something with a morning vibe, but really you can play it whenever.”
Coming up on a live circuit that has seen them share stages with bands and peers including The Terrys, The Lazy Eyes and Velvet Trip has given Vinted Vineer to not only cut their teeth alongside some incredible talent, but also carve out their own space within Australia’s thriving indie scene.
Already a beloved name within the Queensland music community, the group has been extending their influence beyond it in 2025 – a swing of momentum Vinted Vineer will be capitalising on as this fresh year continues to roll out.
