With Tyler HIlton and Kate Voegele’s upcoming Australian & New Zealand tour just around the corner, some very special guests have been announced this morning – including fast-rising German singer/songwriter Nick Howard who will be joining on all Australian dates.
Best known as the winner of The Voice Germany, Howard has released 6 studio albums and played over 1000 shows across the globe, including supports for the likes of Train, Ronan Keating, Jack Johnson, Gavin Degraw, Robbie Williams and many more.
He was invited to perform his hit song ‘Untouchable‘ to over 1 million people in Berlin on New Years Eve and recently sang the US national anthem in front of a sold out crowd at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
His most recent album ‘Hope, Happiness & Heartbreak’ (2024) saw Howard break into the top 50 on US Radio – with praise from the likes of MTV, SiriusXM, Disney, NBC, Fox, CMT & Apple Music. With over 30 million streams to his name, fans will want to make sure they get down to the show early to catch this special performance from Howard.
The tour will be celebrating the Music of One Tree Hill – the hit TV show starring Tyler Hilton and Kate Voegele. One Tree Hill was a phenomenon when it first aired in 2003 via the WB/CW. Running for a total of 9 seasons, the series has been named one of the greatest dramas of all time by the likes of Cosmopolitan, Digital Spy and Entertainment Weekly.
Music played an important role throughout the show’s run, with each episode named after a particular song, artist or album that has something in common with the theme of the episode. Tyler himself appeared on all three of the soundtrack albums – with his cover of the Ryan Adams song ‘When The Stars Go Blue’; his cover of ‘Missing You’ by John Waite & his original song ‘You’ll Ask For Me’.
Fans heading along to the Melbourne shows on the 8th and15th of March will also get the chance to see Canadian-born, Australia based singer- songwriter Laura Lucas on the lineup. Likewise, fans at the Perth show will be able to catch Alt-folk artist Veruca Moon opening up the night on the 14th.
Shows in Sydney (both nights), Brisbane, Melbourne (night 1) and Belgrave have all SOLD OUT. Very few tickets remain for Auckland, Melbourne (night 2), Adelaide and Perth, so for any fans sitting on the fence – now is the time to book!
