The silky smooth vocals and beautifully poignant lyricism of Central Coast favourite Joel Leggett are here and ready to carry us forward into the warmer months.

His latest single, ‘Lifetime Of Love’, arrives as a final sneak peek into his upcoming fourth studio album Love Game, which is released on Thursday October 30th.
 
Today’s release, ‘Lifetime Of Love’, is a vivid and deeply moving single written in honour of Joel’s own father. On the stories which are so beautifully folded into the layers of this stunning track, he explained:
 
“‘Lifetime of Love’ is about finding light after loss. It tells the story of my dad and his siblings growing up in Sydney, getting up to mischief, and not knowing what was ahead. For me, it’s about resilience, family, and the unexpected ways love can show up in life. Musically, I wanted to blend that nostalgic 70s/80s Australian summer feel with my folk roots style; creating something warm, honest, and cinematic.”  JOEL LEGGETT

And cinematic it is indeed. A lifetime of vignettes; moments chosen and illustrated with such painstaking and personal detail — ‘Lifetime Of Love’ effortlessly balances a sunny sonic perspective with a sense of raw, evocative nostalgia.
 
“I started Lifetime of Love by writing and recording every part at home, which gave me space to shape the story before stepping into the studio. Once I brought it in, the song really came to life, layering textures, refining the sound, and making sure it carried that nostalgic summer energy I was chasing. It was a process of translating family stories into music, and that made it one of the more personal songs I’ve created.”  JOEL LEGGETT

Having spent much of 2025 wading out into newer waters beyond his folk roots, exploring the worlds of indie rock and pop on singles such as ‘Should’ve Known Better’, ‘Light In The Dark’, and most recently ‘Other Side Of Town’, Joel Leggett is locked and loaded with a truly masterful collection of tunes which have emerged straight from the heart on his new album Love Game.

A seasoned performer whose charm and talent translate flawlessly between studio and live performances alike, Joel has previously supported artists including San Cisco, The Dreggs, The Rions, Pacific Avenue, You Am I, The Terrys and more. Soon, he will hit the stage for a run of his own headline shows, in celebration of the upcoming record.
