Returning to Australia for the first time in sixteen years, ERIC HUTCHINSON is planning on making up for lost time with his brand new show primed for Australian theatres this November.
Across three unmissable shows along the East Coast, Hutchinson will be bringing choice cuts from a stacked catalogue of music to fans on this, his first-ever headline tour in this area of the world.
First introduced to Australian crowds on massive national tours supporting the likes of Jason Mraz and Kelly Clarkson in 2008 and 2009, Hutchinson went on to become one of North America’s most engaging songwriters and performers.
Growing his collection of music across seven studio albums, multiple tours and a listenership that has accrued over 105 million streams, Hutchinson has a cult following that only continues to grow with each release.
In Australia, Hutchinson’s impact was made early, first with the inclusion of his song ‘Rock & Roll’ on the beloved Australian television drama, Packed To The Rafters. The hit went Platinum in Australia, while his debut album Sounds Like This also hit the ARIA Top 40 upon release.
Hutchinson’s latest album, 2026’s Repeating Myself, has seen the artist make a joyous return to the piano–driven pop and soul music that first won audiences over when he dropped Sounds Like This back in 2008. Full of energy and a rejuvenated approach to the craft, the record has seen Hutchinson create new music that adds perfectly to his body of work, while also taking him in some new creative directions as well.
Australian fans will experience some of this new music, along with a mix of jokes, storytelling and the classics from a career full of memorable hits including ‘Rock & Roll’, ‘Ok, It’s Alright With Me’ and ‘A Little More’.
